Somehow I think the stranger the music is, the more I like it.
Thanks! Personally, I work with pigment and also one tube of watercolor paint which is white. This helps manipulate the paint a bit to work more like gouache or acrylic at times.
I’d say work a lot in layers. Get a base color going for whatever section you’re working on and build off of it. Also, when you take from the pigment to the palette, make sure you have enough pigment so it keeps the color (and if you want, say, a rich black or something, paint straight from the pigment).
Most of all, just go with your gut feeling and have fun! I hope this helped!
